What's the best way to ring in a new year? By putting a ring on your finger, of course!

Hey guys, it's been a while! I'm also in nursing school so...life gets busy. But I've got some awesome photos from a New Year's Eve wedding that I just HAVE to share with you :)

My friend and I photographed a wedding in Alabama on New Year's Eve 2011. Annelise and Tyler are such awesome and unique people, and their wedding reflected that!

Winter Wonderland Engagement

Yesterday we got out and played in the snow for Erin and Scott's engagement session! The weather was beautiful and there was just enough of the Alabama winter wonderland left for some amazing shots. These two kept us laughing the entire time, and their love for each other is evident in every shot. You'll be seeing these two lovebirds again soon-Bonnie and I will be shooting their wedding in May and we can't wait!

Brian and Taylor's Rainbow Mountain Photo Session

When my friend Bonnie Lacy asked me if I would tag along on an engagement photo shoot during my trip back to Alabama, I jumped at the chance. Brian and Taylor turned out to be totally awesome people and a dream to photograph. We wish them the best of luck in their upcoming wedding!

Great Friends, Great Times, Great light!

Today I packed up my camera bag and went with my friends Bonnie and Mallory to Rainbow Mountain to get in some photography practice! The weather couldn't have been better-it was in the high 70s and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Mallory was awesome enough to be our subject, and we got in some great shots. The lighting was absolutely perfect. Here are just a few of the images that I captured.

We met up with our friends Meredith and Andy on Sunday afternoon. They were super awesome and allowed me to follow them around with a camera for a good hour! They brought their pups Hank and Tinkerbell along, too. The weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Someone forgot to tell mother nature that it's supposed to be cold in October (not that i'm complaining one little bit)!

Last week I had the opportunity to have a photo session with my friend Heather and her family. The kids were excited to go play at the park and take pictures! They even helped me out and chose some of their own photos-I sense that we have some little photographers in the making!
